Bohring Art Summer Research Project

This project is a collaboration between a diverse team of physicists and artists, working in partnership with Science Gallery of Detroit as part of the ‘Future Present: Design in Time of Urgency’ exhibition.

The goal of this research project was to create an educational website that uses the principles of interactive design to convey physics concepts effectively to audiences of 15-25 years old. My role in this project was to design all aspects of the website, including designing and creating all parts of each physics activity. Our team was also interested in how this project allowed for interdisciplinary collaboration between students of diverse fields of studies. We were interested in blending the two fields, both art and physics, to see how we could introduce these basic physics concepts to our audience in a more accessible and engaging way.
