UNTF Logo
This logo design concept was created for the Union of Non-tenure Track Faculty, teacher union, at Michigan State University. They wanted a logo design concept that was inspired by the themes of unity and solidarity. I came up with this badge logo design that was inspired by Russian Constructivism Art and the union workers propaganda movement that happened during that time. The logo features an illustration of three humans interlocking arms, standing as one. The hand crafted “UNTF” letters are presented proudly and boldly in the middle of the badge. My design concept was chosen out of four other solutions to be the union’s logo.
Faculty Triennial Catalog
The Michigan State Art Department is hosting an art exhibition for all its art teachers and faculty. The art museum on campus, Broad Art Museum, is hosting the event and asked Design Center to design its catalog for the event. My design solution for the catalog was inspired by the architecture of the Broad Art Museum. I wanted to create a cover that was a little edgy, giving the museum illustration a distressed look while rotating the title to give the cover some visual drama.
